Smash Summer Cup

 

 

- The tournament will be set in Brackets (Double Elimination).

- The Top 16 will take place on Sunday, August 30 at 10am. (DAY 2)

- "NEW RULE": (Valid only from 100 registered players).

The 16 players that come after the Top 8 (the ones from the 9th to the 24th place) will be re-enrolled into a “Second Chance” Bracket, completely free that will run from 11am. It is a mini 16 places tournament allocated to the players following the Top 8 in the continuity of the Main Event. The Challenge ? The CASH PRIZE !! These players can still participate in the Side Event.

 

 

• Game Version: Nintendo WiiU Europe

• Game settings: 3 Stocks, 8 Minutes, Item OFF, equipment OFF, Custom Move OFF, Best of 3.

• Looser Bracket YES (same rule).

• Final Loser/Winner/Grand 1 Bo5 - 3 Stocks - 8 minutes

• Mii Fighter/Swordsmen/Gunner are allowed only with pre-established set of EVO with size and weight as required (see below the playable list).

• Amiibos banned.

• Every different Controllers are allowed (even Gamepad, Wiimote/Nunchuk, 3DS).

• No data transfers or changes on consoles, you are only allowed to put your usernames and your orders.

 

- No sudden death phase are played, the player with the least damage percentages was the winner of the match played.

- In case of draw, an additional match of 1 stock and 2 minutes time limit will be played to decide between the two players.

They will replay the same characters on the same stage as the previous match, this match naturally obeys the rules set out above.

- If one player makes an attack causing the 2 players to lose their last stocks at the same time (Suicide move like), the result on the screen to end the game results will be taken into account only.

 

- If one player selects a Mii, the player must select a Mii proposed on the playable list (proposed below), he may not in any case change Mii for the rest of the match (example: Player X chooses a Mii Fighter in 1-1-1-2, he wins the round 1 exchange for Olimar, loses the round 2, Mii Fighter for the game 3, it will necessarily take the Mii with 1-1-1-2 composition).

- If one player plays Mii Fighter on game 1, it can choose to play another Mii like gunner or Swordsman (always with a single composition possible Mii).

- If one player selects a Mii, it has to show the detail of the character to his opponent before the match.

 

- First match is played on a neutral stage. Player 1 (determined by a "rock paper scissors" game for example) strike one stage of the neutral stage list. Then the Player 2 ban two stages, and Player 1 ban one final stage between the two stages remaining. The last remaining stage is the one where the game is going to take place.

- The winner of the first match strike one stage (either neutral or counterpick) for the next round.

The loser pick one stage between all the stages remaining, and the match will take place on the chosen stage. (Banned stage only remain unselectable for one match).

- The winner have to point out if he's going to change his character or not after the stage is chosen. If so, he have to tell his opponent what character he want to take.

- The loser can now select his character.

- Repeat the part 2 & 3 until the end of the set.

(If Final Destination is banned, Omega Stages are banned and vice versa).

 

In case of arguing, players are invited to pause the game and call a judge.
